Other uses for scrapbook techniques
One of the best things about learning to scrapbook is how you can incorporate the techniques into other events in your life. I have used scrapbooking to make birthday cards, christmas cards, invitations etc. Imagine how you can incorporate scrapbooking into your wedding. You can make the invitations, placecards, thank you cards and even the party favors yourself and not only save money but everyone will love and remember the personal touch. Take a look at these sand dollars: These are ideal for making placecards for a wedding. You could write the name of each individual using a caligraphy pen and then using ribbon in your wedding colors you could thread the ribbon through the slots to make each shell stand out. On the backside of the shells you can also write the names of the Bride and Groom and the date. This can also be used as a great memento for the guests to take home. Be sure to create one for the Bride and Groom themselves which they can later add to their wedding scrapbook!
